lIIMATANGI SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., report on their Himatangi sale held on Monday last, where they yarded approximately 110 of cattle, including 45 dairy heifers, for which competition was keen, and values wore well up to recent quotations. A few yearling Jersey heifers wore keenly sought after and changed hands at advanced rates. The advertised dairy bulls met with a ready sale and satisfactory values were obtained. Fat cows and heifers ex dairy solicited brisk competition and values in this section were well up to recent quotations, 'i hoy quote: Fat cows and heifers, £5 ss, £5 12s 6d, £6 7s 6d, £7 to £9 12s 6d; store cows and heifers, £3 15s, £4, £4 10s; ylg. Jersey heifers, £5 ss. to £6 2s 6d ; spg. heifers, £7 ss, £8 10s, £8 17s 6d, £9 12s 6d. £lO to £11; dairy bulls, £B, £8 5s to £9 10s. PAHIATUA SALE. A moderate yarding of sheep comprising; mostly ewe hoggets, a medium yarding of dairy stock, and a large offering of pigs were submitted to a good attendance of buyers at Pahiatua yesterday. Quotations : Sheep: Ewe hoggets, medium 35s lOd to 345, small 30s to 26s 9d; wether hoggets, good 26s 6d, 25s to 24s 3d; h.f. hoggets, good 24s to 235, small 20s; ewes and lambs (all counted), 16s; fat wether hoggets. 295. Dairv stock: Cows close to profit, £l4 15s, £l4 10s to £l2 IQs; heifers, close to profit, £1 5s to £10; fat cows cx dairy, £8 to £7; Jersey bulls, 13gns to 9gns. There was an excellent demand for the total offering at to-day’s rabbitskin auction of approximately 20 tons.
