DUNEDIN, Oet. 7. While working a hose up a stairway at a fire which destroyed an-’ office, James Fleming, a fireman, was burnt about the face and hands when* an explosion of accumulated gases occurred. The explosion blew two sheets of iron from the roof and shattered window's.
