S.P.C.A. At a meeting of the Feilding S.P.C.A, Mrs V. Morphy presided. The inspector (Mr Lee) reported that there had been no cases of cruelty in the past month. Tho Bobby calves were in good condition this year, and so far no complaints had been received of rough handling or long hours of transit. Mr Lee generously donated back to the society £1 of his salary. It was noted that subscriptions were slow in coming in.

Presentation of Plays. On Thursday evening players from flic Community Centre will protont "The Fortieth Man” and “Husbands Supplied” in the Methodist Hall, Feilding, at 8 p.m. Other concert items will also be given. The admission charge is Is 6d and the proceeds are in aid of the church trust lunde.
