HILL BILLY DANCE.
Another large attendance is expected at tho Cosmopolitan Hall to-night, when the members of the Palmerston North Junior Labour Party will conduct a Hill Billy dance. Their recent Hawaiian dance was declared one of the most successful functions of the year, and the members are endeavouring to eclipse their .previous effort. The whole of tho arrangements have been designed to fit the occasion. Tho hall will be suitably decorated, and prizes given to patrons appearing in tho best Hill Billy costumes. Another type of novel supper will be served, arrangements being made to ensure that ample will be provided to everyone, irrespective of an extraordinarily largo attendance. Typical Hill Billy Mu6ic will be presented by Messrs M. Creighton', W. Pore Andre. A. Ganderton and E. Collins. These loading musicians have formed, themselves into a Hill Billy band specially for ’the occasion, and _ they will render a number of items on instruments characteristic of tho Hid Billies. All who attend this function are assured of an enjoyable evening.
