MARTON, Oct. 5. An L.G.U. competition played by the Hawkcstone Ladies’ Golf Club resulted: Miss Strawbridge, 111—32—79; Mrs Williams, 108—28 —80; Mbs Cummins, 105 —23 —B2; Mrs Kendrick, 115—33—82. In a one-club competition played by the Ilawkestone Golf Club at the week-end the honours were shared by W. Winchcombc, 102—26—76, and J. Clarke, 96—20—76. The next best scores were: A Graeie, 98—10— 80, T. Dommett, 98 —16—80. A flag competition played by the Marton Golf Club was won by G. G. Oliver.
