OTAKI MEETING.
Acceptances for the Otaki-Maori Racing Club’s spring meeting, to be held next Saturday, will close to-morrow at 8 p.m. with the secretary (Mr N. Winiata), at the club’s office, Otaki.
T. R. George has decided to send the Croupier filly Pay Roll to Ellerslie this week for the A.R.C. Welcome Stakes. Pay Roll was the favourite for tho Wanganui Debutant Stakes run nt Awapuni, but she draw a wide barrier position and was soon hopelessly out of it. She was noticed finishing on just out of a place and since then she has done well at Mastcrton.
