EXPULSION OF JEWS
. RUMANIA ACTS (Rec. 1 p.m.) BERLIN. Oct. 6. . The News Agency states that Rumania has ordered the expulsion of all ioreign Jews who illegally entered the country in the past five years. Bucharest reports that 280 Rumanian intellectuals have arrived at Curtici from Transylvania. They declared the Hungarian authorities without warning ordered their departure. In Budapest it is semi-officially stated that Rumania’s Lntransigency in the negotiations for the return of refugees has compelled Hungary to take reprisals and expel certain Rumanians. * ‘The expelled Rumanians are only a fraction of the number of Hungarians expelled from Rumania. If Rumania continues the expulsions. Hungary will be compelled to take stronger re-' pinajs,” : - ' '
