LABOUR REQUIREMENTS.
(Rec. 9.5) WASHINGTON Oct. 6. The Secretary for Labour (Miss J«. Perkins) has predicted an increase of throe to four million workers in the defence industries and an "additional two million indirectly by the end of 1941. She said the completion of the work on the present defence appropriations would require 4,540,000 men for many years of labour.
