REPERTORY SOCIETY.
The Manawatu Repertory Society held its final rehearsed reading tor the 1940 season recently, when ia comedy was presented by a well-chosen cast under the direction of Mesdames L. Gorman and J. Espiner. The presentation was splended in both setting and performance and a credit to all concerned. The cast comprised : Mrs G. Gray, Misses M. Mortland J. and P. Murphy, Messrs F, Benda]], T. M. N. Rodgers, C. Cronin, and G. Driver. Mr M. H. Oram (president) offered congratulations to the producers and cast and expressed good wishes to Mr A. G. A. Baigent on his recent marriage and to Mr Graham Driver whose wedding day is approaching.
