Per Press Association. THAMES, Oct. 5. ; The Thames Trotting Club held . its spring meeting to-day in fine weather, with a’• large attendance. The track was in good order. Results: — TARARU HANDICAP (trotters), of £100; 3.49 class. One and a-half miles. — 2-3'Vera Worthy scr, 1; 4-6 Dolores Silk 12yds bhd, 2; 11-11 Port Chalmers scr. 3. Also started : Flash Bye, Golden Journey, Otawa Lass, Peggy Bond, Rara Avis, Wiliam scr, Peter Harvester, Snowy, Bingen 48yds bhd, Gold Kip 60. A neck: three lengths. Time, 3.33 2-5. KARAKA HANDICAP, of £100; 3.5 class. One and a-quartcr miles. —2-2 - Peter’s Find scr (Mitchell), 1; 5-1 Northern Smile 12yds bhd, 2; 8-7 Magic Task scr 3.
