PATERSON.—On October 3, 1940, at the Palmerston North Hospital, Hugh Archibald, dearly beloved husband of Kathleen Paterson, lato of Taihapc, and eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. Paterson, Mosgiel, and dearest daddy of Murray, Brian and Donald, of 58 Stanley Avenue; aged 35 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass 9 a.m. to-morrow (Saturday), St. Patrick’s Church, Palmerston North. RAVEN. —At Napier, on October 3, 1940, Dorothy Lilian, beloved wife of Frank Raven, 7 Shakespeare Terrace, Napier; aged 49 years.
