Miss Brenda Fitzpatrick, of Palmerston North, is visiting Nelson. Mrs M. J. Munro, of Levin, is visiting Palmerston North. Miss Saxton, of Palmerston North, is visiting Whangarei, accompanied by Mrs H, G. Kilford, of Hawke’s Bay. Mrs D. 0. Williams, of Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs H. It. Whitehead, of Grey Street, for a fortnight, has returned home. , The friends of Mrs S. Nicholls will be pleased to know that she has returned home after being in the Hospital for some time. Miss Mary Blanchard, assistantsecretary of the Palmerston North Y.W.C.A., has been called home to Timaru owing to the serious illness of her sister.

Mrs B. J. Jacobs and Mrs J. A. Grant left for Wellington to-day to meet their sister, Mrs H. Palmer, of Blackpool, and her two sons, who have arrived from England. Mrs Palmei and her boys will stay in Palmerston North for the duration of the war.
