Another coal hold-up in New South Wales, on this occasion at the South Coast collieries and affecting over 3000 men, began yesterday. The miners are seeking the suspension of Judge Drake Brockman,’s new award which according to the miners takes away their seniority rights which they have enjoyed for forty years, giving the owners the right to hire or fire “irrespective of seniority.”
