BOMBER DAMAGED.
IN HAIFA RAID.
(British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 9.35 a.m.) RUGBY, Oct. 2. In Cairo an official communique states that during an air raid on Haifa on Seotember 29 one Italian bomber with a crew of five was damaged by anti-aircraft fire, and subsequently made a forced landing in Syria. On the other fronts all is quiet.
