In Feilding on Tuesday, Dr Edgar Ford conducted the Trinity College of Music’s practical examinations, the following being successful: —Mies Garrett’s pupils: Flcssie Bond, higher local, 75 (merit); Margaret Malcolm, intermediate, 82 (merit); Geoffrey Malcolm, preparatory, 82 (merit). Miss Humphrey’s pupils; Phyllis Harford, junior, 78 (merit). Mrs Harford’s pupil: Beryl Clifford, advanced preparatory, 85 (honours). Miss Barrett’s pupil: Brian Williams, first steps, 70 (pass). Mr Crump’s pupil: Freda Johnson, junior, 72 (pass). Mr Jones’s pupils: Shirley Sadler, senior, 66 (pass); C. Bowen, junior, 65 (pass). Mr and Mrs Golding’s pupils: Ronald Trctnain, L.T.C.L. Diploma, 76 (pass); Waldo Wcnham, advanced senior, 70 (pass); Edna Heayns, intermediate, 79 (merit); Pamela Mills, intermediate, 72 (pass); Thelma Griffin, • junior, 69 (pass). Mr Trcmain’s pupil: Nola Trcmain, preparatory, 85 (honours).
