MARKET REPORT.

The Dominion Auctioneering Coy.. Ltd., report receiving large entries of both pigs and poultry at their usual weekly sale. Weaners sold to 30s each and porkers to £3 3s. Poultry are still selling particularly well, hens again realising to 6s each and ducks to 5s 6d. Fair supplies of fruit and vegetables came forward, all classes showing a decided improvement on last week’s rates. We quote as follows: Pigs: Best weaners, to 30s; medium, 24s to 295; small, 15s to 20s; slips, 32s 6d to 375; heavy stores, 4Cs to 495; light stores, 35s to 395; porkers, £2 4s to £3 3s. Poultry: Heavy lions, 5s to 6s each; best W.L. hens, 4s to 4s 6d each; light hens, 2s lOd to 3s 3d each; ducks, young lo 6s 3d each; old ducks, to 3s 6d each; cofckerels, heavy, to 4s 6d each; roosters, to 4s 6d each; turkey gobhlers, to 11s; turkey hens, to 8s; hens 1 and chicks, to 22s 9d ; pullets, to 6s each. Produce: Asparagus, lCd to Is 4d bundle#: rhubarb, 5s to 8s dozen; cauliflowers. 12« to 15s bag; cases, Is to 9s; lettuce, prime, 8s to 9s 6d case; others, 3s to 7s; cabbages, 3s to 5s ease; celery, 14s to 21s case; 6wedes, 6s to 9s bag; carrots, 3s' tu 5s sugar bag; parsnips, -2s to 4s bag; leeks, 3s to 4s case; silver beet, 4s to Vs case; spinach, 7s to 11s case; beetroot, 4s to 6s 6d case; radishes, Is 6d to 2s dozen bunches; turnips, Is 6d to 2s dozen ; potatoes, 4s to 5s cwt.
