i GOOD QUALITY FORWARD. For the Feilding stock sale to-day a particularly good offering of station beef' came to hand, the yarding of this class of cattle comprising some very well-grown bullocks and cows. Hereford and P.A. breeds, predominated in the station beef section, and there was only a small offering of ex dairy cows and heifers. There was also a fair offering of station store cattle, mostly yearling and 2-3 yr P.A. j steers. The yarding of boner cows was a moderate one. Close-to-profit cows and heifers were offered in fair numbers in the dairy cattle pens. A fair supply of mutton was forward for I butchers’ requirements, and ewes occupied most pens, although there was a good offering of wethers and hog- ! gets. The store sheep comprised several pens of spring lambs, a small offering .of owe and wether hoggets, an odd 1 pen of woolly wethers and several pens of 2th ewes. In all classes the quality : was good.
