SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ TOURNEY. LOCAL TEAM PLAYS WELL. The Palmerston North Boys’ High School hockey eleven which has been playing well at the secondary schools’ tournament in Auckland had another win yesterday morning. In their match against Gisborne High School the Palmerston North side, after holding a territorial advantage for most of the game, won by 4 gaols to 1. Kyle and Waters both found tho net on two occasions, and Mummery and Adcock were tho most outstanding players in tho Palmerston North side. In ‘the match against Auckland Grammar School to decide the winners of Section A, High School were very unluckv in that they were beaten after extra time had been played. After being throe goals down at the interval, Palmerston North made a good recovery and at the call of time the score .was 4-all. After 15 minutes of extra time, the Aucklanders found the net for the winning goal.
