COMING VICTORY.
LIBERATION BY ALLIES. DOMINATION OF AIR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 11. The Minister of Economic \\artare, (Dr Dalton), broadcasting in the 8.8. C. Polish news service to-night, said: •‘Day by day the British Air Force Hies over Germany dropping bombs on aerodromes, aircraft factories, oil •stores, refineries, blast furnaces, railways and docks. Every night British aircraft light fires of destruction from which the flames can be seen by the Germans more than 100 miles away. “Soon we shall dominate the air over Germany just as at the beginning of this war the Germans dominated the air over Poland. And from that day complete defeat for Germany will follow soon.” Dr Dalton said that in the skies over Germany Polish airmen flew side by side with British airmen. Polish ships and sailors helped the British Navy to dominate the seas and shut off Germany from all overseas supplies. “On the land the Polish Army stands side by side with the British Army and with contingents from Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and from Czechoslovakia and France. These are the soldiers of the army of liberation. When we have drowned and destroyed any Germans who attempt to invade our island, when we have conquered the air over Germany, we shall call at a chosen moment to all whom Hitler has enslaved and tortured to rise and greet the armies which will land from England upon the shores of Europe.”
