ROTARY CLUB.
A description of a 14,000-mile tour in a caravan across the United States and back again was given by Mr D. H. Taylor, of Wellington, at the weekly luncheon of the Palmerston North Rotary Club yesterday. The trip was made last year, in a two and a-lialf ton caravan, a.nd a feature of it which appealed to the audience was that petrol cost lOd a gallon, and plenty of it was available. Mr J. A. Grant presided, and the speaker was accorded a vote of thanks on the motion of Mr It. R. Morton. Dr. R. ■ Grigor, of Auckland, was welcomed as a visitor.
