AIRCRAFT MISSING.
Received August 13, 12.35 p.m. BRISBANE, Aug. 13. A Royal Australian Air Force plane with a crew of six is missing off the coast near Brisbane. It was due back at the Archerfield air station at 5 o’clock last evening after exercises at sea. It is hoped the missing machine made a forced landing on some lonely beach.
