CIVIL SERVANTS
WAGE RATES. BENEFITS OF DECISIONS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 13.. “Civil servants usually' benefit from decisions of the Arbitration Court on the wage question,” said the Minister of Health (Hon. H. T. Armstrong), this morning, “and no doubt on this occasion representations will be made by civil servants’ organisations and will be considered by Cabinet.” Mr Armstrong made this comment this morning on the question of the 5 per cent, increase awarded by the Court to workers under awards and agreements.
