SUBMARINE LOST.
LONDON, Aug. 10. It is officially announced that H.M. submarine Odin (Lieutenant-Com-mander K. M. Woods) is overdue and is presumed lost.
The Odin was the first of a class of six submarines launched in 1929 and 1930. It was of 1475 tons surface displacement, with a horse-power of 4400 and a maximum speed of 17 2 knots on the surface and 9 knots submerged. The length of the craft was 284 ft. and the normal complement was 53 men.
