WOMEN'S WORLD
Miss Jean Waters, of Hastings, is the guest of Mrs P. F. O’Connor, of Ferguson Street. Mrs It. Waters and Miss Annette Waters, of Fitzherbert Avenue, are the guests of Mrs W- C. Somers, of Herne Bay, Auckland. Lieutenant It. Spencer and Mrs Spencer, who have been staying in Palmerston North and Feilding, have gono to Wellington. Mrs Spencer, who is visiting her cousins, Mr and Mrs B. Bailey, will later go to Porangahau to stay with her brother, Mr T. Bailey and Mrs Bailey, before returning home to Feilding. Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs W. L. H. Chapman, of Russell Street, that their daughter-in-law, Mrs J. H. Chapman, who was injured when a motor vehicle overturned at Grenoble (France) last week, sustained severe bruises. Mr Chapman and his son, who were in the same party, escaped injury and were able to continue their journey, their ultimate destination being the United States. Mr and Mrs Chapman, their friends will be pleased to learn, have been reassured by the latest news.
