MINOR MOTOR ACCIDENTS.
THREE OVER WEEK-END. Three minor motor accidents occur* red in or near Palmerston North over the week-end. On Saturday afternoon a motor-car driven by Mr R. A. Jones, of Aro Street, Wellington, . overturned when the driver was trying to avoid a collision with a motor-bus at the intersection of Milson’s Line and the Kai-ranga-Bunnythorpe Road. Mr Jones was not hurt. Another motor-car overturned Yesterday morning on the main highway near Awahuri. This car had just passed another. The occupants, Mr and Mrs H. M. Larsen, oi Barrack Street, Wanganui, suffered abrasions, cut» and shock. Yesterday afternoon two cars collided at the intersection of College Street and Botanical Road. Miss Jean Spencer, the driver of one vehicle, received an injury to her right elbow, but the driver of the other car, Mr H. C. Watt, of Miro Street, was not hurt. Miss D. Mills, of Linton Street, who was a passenger with Miss Spencer,, suffered a. bump on tho head but a second woman passenger was unhurt.
