REPRESENTATIVE MATCH. A marked superiority was shown by the Wellington B representative Association football team when they met the Manawatu representatives at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday. Wellington had thus no difficulty in winning by 8 goals to 3. After Shankic had scored AA 7c!lington’s first goal, only bad luck stopped T. Downes from netting for Manawatu with two kicks, one of which just tipped the post and the other the cross-bar. .Teromson added a further goal for Wellington and Hickmott scored two in succession. Then, aided by .the strong wind, Manawatu’s attacks began to tell, and pressing on the right wing instead of the left., as previously, they scored twice, Allan getting the first goal and ATcStepnoy the second. A thrust in the left later produced success, when T. Downes centred to Glaister, who scored. Heather scored Wellington’s fifth goal just before half-time.
