ALARMING REPORTS.
AMERICAN’S STATEMENT. Received August 10, 12.20 pan. WASHINGTON, Aug. 9. Senator Rufus Holman, speaking in the Senate, said: “I have learned from authoritative military sources of the imminent peril of an invasion of Alaska and the entire Pacific slope.” Senator Sheppard said that, according to reports, there is imminent danger of a Japanese attack on Malaya.
