PATRIOTIC FUND
CONTRIBUTION FROM FOXTON. The latest donations to the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Fund through the Feilding zone includes a substantial sum, amounting to £2Bl 16s 7d, from the Foxton area. Foxton is now part of the Zone E organisation and this handsome .contribution is indicative of the work of the patriotic organisation in that area. District patriotic sub-committees are now all working for funds for file Provincial Patriotic Fund, which is required to be built up as rapidly as possible since it may not be long before calls will be made on this account for rehabilitation purposes. _ . Recently tlie Kimbolton-Kiwi tea Young Farmers’ Club concluded a very successful stock drive on behalf of the funds and it is expected, that the sum realised will be in the vicinity of £2OO. This club, in addition to its normal functions, is doing splendid work for patriotic purposes, and the result of this stock drive illustrates what can ibe achieved. The position of Feilding contributions to the Provincial Fund to date is as follows: £ s. d.
