SALEYARDS ACCIDENT. At the Feilding stock sale yesterday Air M. Stewart, an auctioneer for the ,Now Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co.. Ltd., met with a nasty accident, his injuries necessitating medical attention and the insertion ot several stitches to a cut on his jaw. Air Stewart was walking along the top rail of one of the cattle pens when someone spoke to him, and in answering he failed to notice the reduced width of the footwalk and fell to the concrete floor below, a distance of six feet. In his fall he struck his jaw on the rail. After receiving medical attention he was taken to his home. Enquiries made this morning from Airs Stewart elicited the information that Air Stewart’s facial injury was not causing pain, but that his arm was severely sprained.
