WASTE OIL.
CONTROL OF REFINING. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 9. The industry of used oil. refining lias been brought within the licensing provisions of the Industrial Efficiency Act. In a statement to-day. the Alinister (Hon. D. G. Sullivan) said investigations had been made as to the possibility of utilis’lr,; waste oil in view of the need for economy during wartime. It was considered it would lie in the interests of the community if the industry were put on an efficient basis.
