CREW BELIEVED PRISONERS.

(British Official Wireless.) Received August 9, 10.40 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 8. An Admiralty communique announces that His Majesty’s submarine Oswald, which has been_ operating in Mediterranean waters, is overdue and must be considered lost. An Italian communique has stated that 52 officers and men, including the commanding officer, of this submarine are,,prisoners of war and unhurt. The Oswald’s total complement was five officers and 50 ratings.
