MEN’S HOCKEY. In the hockey match, Feilding v Napier, pJa.ved at Napier on Saturday, the home team proved the winners, the. score being Napier 5, Feilding 2. Mounted Rifles. At the first parade of the Feilding troop of tho 6th Mounted Rifles Regiment, next week, Major Peren, Officer Commanding, hopes to pay a visit. Territorial Training. In tho Drill Hall, last evening, the Feilding Territorial Company was engaged in physical culture instruction given by Messrs Waldcgrave and H. Duthie. Third Echelon Members. Local members of the Third Echelon, who b.re at present on leave, are to bo tendered a send-off before they return to camp. For this purpose they have been asked to communicate with the secretary of the Feilding Patriotic Society so ’ that a complete list of names may be compiled. School Ball. The Lytton Street School will hold its annual plain and fancy dress ball at Hie Drill Hall on Thursday, August 8. Admission charges and other particulars appear in an advertisement on this page.
