Two trains carrying large numbers of troops going home on leave passed through Palmerston North this morning hound for the south. The carriages displayed numerous slogans and sketches in keeping with the jovial spirits of the men Also chalked on the carriages were the names of towns at which sonic of tile men had resided before leaving camp.
