(From Our Own Correspondent.) QTAKT, June 15. Sir C. B. Wcenink, who has been stationmaster at Otaki for six and a half yearn and has received notice of his transfer to Papakura, is a keen sportsman, and as a bowler proved Ids worth in all games. Mrs Wcenink has been a very active member of the Women’s Institute. Air Hurley, of Hawera,' succeeds Air Weenink. Otaki has now raised £460 towards Red Cross funds. At a meeting of the Otaki Borough Council it was decided to put off all men with the exception of four, who are to be chosen by the works committee. At present 22 men are engaged.
