FEILDING STOCK SALE.

AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT. Tlie Associated Auctioneers report on the Feilding sale: There was a small attendance of the public due to the coun-ter-attraction of the Winter Show. In all 2339 store sheep were penned, the main entry being an outstnding line of 500 well-bred 4 and 5-year-old Romney cross ewes running with Southdown ranis, offered on account of Mr L. E. B. Wallace, fliwinui. These sheep came forward in excellent condition, and wore keenly competed for at prices fully firm on recent sales, 4-year-olds making 28s Bd, 5-year-olds 27s 3d, 4 and 5-year-olds 255. The balance of the yarding, which was made up principally of owe and wether hoggets, a pen of two-toolh ewes,' and oddments,. also sold under active competition, and realisations were firm on last- week’s sale.-Eat. sneep : A small yarding of 583 were penned. Wethers were in shortsupply, ewes comprising the bulk of the entry. Values were firm from the outset and an excellent sale resulted with a total clearance. Fat cattle: A small yarding of 60 head sold to a good bench of buyers, with realisations showing a slight improvement on the previous week’s sale. Fifty head of boner cows met with a good sale. A small offering of 44 head of dairy cattle sold under good competition. A special entry of cows and heifers made up to 10i~ guineas.
