AUCTION MART. Prices at the Feilding auction mart yesterday for poultry and pigs are.— Poultry: Hens, Is 3d to 4s Id; cockerels. 2s Id to. 4s Id. Pigs: Stores, £1 3s to £1 7s; porkers, £2; boars, £l 14s. Educational Progress. Mr 11. C. D. Somerset, in his report to the Board of Managers of the High iSchool, mentioned that there were 200 books in the .Community Centre library and about 85 of these were on loan to various study groups. “I feel that it is necessary to keep our aims .steadily before us—and that we should try not to allow the war situation to interfere with them. It is in times of crisis-that educational progress is made, and the Feilding Community Centre has a constructive job to do that is unique in the history of education in New Zealand,” concludes the report.
