Produce Distributors, Ltd., report the following firices for this week according to quality and grade Passion fruit, 5s to 6s i-case; Poorman oranges, 8s to 11s case; jam melons, 3s 6d to 7s 6d sugar bag; rhubarb, 6s to 12s dozen bunches; kumaras, 3jd to 4d per lb.; celery, 6s to 10s case, 3s to 5s dozen; lettuce, 4s 6d to 9s 6d case; spinach, Is 9d dozen ; cabbage, drumhead, 5s to 6s; savoy, 5s 6d; cauliflowers, 6s 6d to 11s; swedes. 3s 6d to 5s supers; carrots, 2s to 3s; parsnips, 3s to 4s 6d sugar tag, leeks, 2s 8d dozen; silverbeet,, 2s 6d to 3s 6d. case; pumpkins, reds, 4s; triumbles, 5s to 7s 6d; iron bark, 6s sugar bag; potatoes, Sultons, 6s to 7s ewt.; onions, 3s to 4s, 8s to 10s centals. There is a very firm demand for celery, lettuce, rhubarb, spinach, leeks and kumaras The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report a very spirited competition for all classes of pigs at their weekly sale. Wcaners realised to 18s 6d, stores to 30s and porkers to £2 ss. Poultry was also in demand particularly cockerels and good table fowls. The usual supply of fruit and produce came forward. Pigs: Wcaners, 17s 6d to 18s 6d; slips, to 245; stores, 26s 6d to 335: porkers, 40s to 455. Poultry; iiesi W.L. hens, 4s 6d to 6s per pair; heavy hens, 6s 6d to 7s 6d per pair; light hens, 3s to 4s 6d. per pair. Young ducks, 9s to 10s per pair; old ducks, 5s to 7s per pair; prime cockerels, 9s to 10s per pair; medium, 5s to 7s .6d per pair; pullets, 5s to 7s each. Turkey hens to 7s; turkey gobblers to 7s.
