We shall fight in front of Paris. We shall fight behind Paris. “We will shut ourselves up in one of our provinces. If we are chased from there, we will go to Northern Africa and—if we must—to our possessions in America.” “At the moment when I speak, another dictatorship lias struck France in the back and a new frontier is menaced,” added the Premier. “A naval battle is about to begin. “It is my duty to ask you for new and even wider help.
