LONGBURN
(From Our Own Correspondent.) , LONGBURN, June 13. At the euchre party held at tho school in aid of the school baths fund, the winners were: Ladies Mrs T. Cookslcy; men, Mr Bailey. Mr F. Brown is recovering from his recent illness. Airs Casey, of Dune Hill, Wanganui, is visiting her parents, All 4 and Airs T. Cooksley. Air W. Barham is recovering from injuries received In a motor accident. Aliss B. Zureher is visiting her sister, Airs Wickham, Teriki, Taranaki. A committee meeting was held recently in the dance-hall at Air R. Tanner’s residence when a social and dance was arranged to be held for Red Cross funds. Airs Reed, of Wanganui, is visiting Airs W. D. Campbell. Airs Taylor, of Wanganui, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs Young.
