ACTIVITIES BY SCHOOLS. Advice as to what patriotic work could most suitably be undertaken in his school was sought by Mr J.' Connor, headmaster of the Itussell Street School, at the biennial meeting o! .householders on Monday. Support was given to Mr Connor’s contention that school children could do much useful patriotic work and that some indication should be sought on the best advantage to which they c.oiild work, and it was decided to seek this information from the Red Cross Society and the Patriotic Committee.
