Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report another large yarding of station-bred cattle, with an average one of sheep of all classes, at tlioif Woodville sale. The entry of cattle comprised mainly straight lines ol empty station cows and heifers from the Waiono-Pongaroa, Alfredton, and A'lakuri districts. Although there were Jew outside buyers operating, wc were successful in effecting practically a total clearance at auction at tho following prices: Quotations: Fat' P.A. cows, £5 ss, £5 10s, £5 15s, £6, £6 ss, £6 10s, £7: forward P.A. cows. £3 15s, £4, £4 ss. to £4 10s; store P.A. cows, £2 10s, £2 12s 6d. £2 15s, £3, £3 ss. £3 10s; 21-yi- P.A. heifers, £4, £4 ss, £4 10s, to £5 2s 6d: fat Jersey cows, £4, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5, t.o £5 10s. Sheep: Fat owes, 15s, 16s, 16s 6d to 17s 6d; woolly wether lambs, 12s 6d, 13s, 13s 6d, 14s to 155,6 d; ewe lambs, 13s, 15s, 16s, 17s, 17s 6d to 19s: woolly b.l. lambs, good condition. 14s 6d, 15s 6d: 4-th ewes r.w. S.D. and Rom. rams, 26s 7d; aged 5 and 6-yr ewes, r.w. S.D. ram, 14s, 16s to 17s 6d.
