SUPrORT FOR HITLER. Received April 20, 10.10 a.m. BERLIN, April 19. The Minister of Propaganda, (Dr Goebbels), broadcasting on the eve of Hitler’s birthday, said Britain’s greatest mistake was the assumption that she was fighting Hitlerism and not the German people. The nation was united in its devotion to Hitler, who was the incarnation and the Germans’ spirit. “We are unable to imagine it could ever be otherwise in the future,” lie added.
