BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNVTHORPE, April 13. Mrs Parson (postmistress) is on her annual holiday. At the last- euchre tournament Mrs McKenzie and Mr Weast cl I won the prizes. Mr and Mrs Baker, who have been on their annual holiday, have returned homo. Mr E. K. Ransom is visiting Wellington. The school having obtained the necessary number on the roll, the School Committee will require seven members; the number has been five in past: years. Air W, Larsen, of North Auckland, is visiting his brother, Air F. Larsen. On Thursday evening there was a large gathering in the public hall, when a lantern lecture on Palestine was given. The special effort being made by thePatriotic Committee for the function to take place next week. Tt: promises to be in every way a success, there being fourteen teams taking part in the young farmers’ tug-of-war. There will be other attractions for the public, including dancing. The object, the soldiers’ parcels fund, is worthy of support.
