SILENT PRISONERS
LONDON, April S. The German wireless admitted that some English prisoners of war are refusing to broadcast Nazi propaganda programmes, as the outcome of recent instructions by British headquarters in France that this must not he done. The prisoners, added the German radio, showed great obstinacy, in spite of pressure, contrasting with the “reasonable behaviour of other prisoners.'’ The announcer sneeringly described them as “conscientious objectors.” who had been placed in tile same camp as Polish prisoners. '
