LABOUR PARTY.

A pleasant afternoon was spent in the Trades Hall recently the occasion being a presentation to Mr P. T. Robinson from the women’s central branch of the Labour Party in appreciation of his services to the branch as honorary auditor for a number of years. After several speakers had eulogised Mr Robinson’s work in. the interests of the branch, the president (Mrs A. Robertson) made the presentation. Among those prenent were Mr J. Hodgens, M.P., and. Mrs Hodgens. An apology was received from Hon. M. Briggs, who was out of town.
