The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Lid., Palmerston North, report receiving the usual yardings of pigs and poultry at tlieir weekly sale held on Thursday, and to a large attendance of buyers a total clearance was made in all lines. Vegetables were in very heavy supply, prices remaining firm on last week’s rates. They quote as follows: Pigs.—Best weaners, 11s to 13s eacn ; small, 9s to 10s: stores, 20s, 22s to 30s; fight porkers. 35s to 40s; heavy, £2 4s to £2 10s; baconers, £2 13s to £3 11s.
