(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, April 18. The Rongotea Ladies’ Basketball Club recently received with regret the resignation of the club captain (Miss M. Fraser), who is leaving for Dunedin next month tc study for the nursing profession. Miss M. Slaliery resigned from the position of secretary, which position sho bad held for some years. At a meeting of the club the following officers were elected President, Mrs A. G. Dear; secretary, Miss M. Dear; captain, Miss L. Churchill; vicecaptain, Miss E. Hunt; delegates, Mr F. Dear and Miss Churchill; referee, Mrs S. Barker. -The local tram to visit Feilding on Saturday is: Misses L. Fieldhouso, G. Amoy, P. Hill, R. Knox. E. Hunt, E. McCutcheon. L. Churchill, M. Dear, R. Hill: emergencies, Misses E. Amey and J. Churchill. Mr and Mrs H. N. Row.e are on a visit tc Rotorua. Mr T. Major, of Te Telco, Bay of Plentj, is visiting Rongotea.
