COLD, CHANGEABLE, IMPROVING. ‘ Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 19. A cyclonic disturbance is now centred north of the Chatham Islands, while an anti-cyclone extends from the west over the Tasman Sea. The forecast is for strong but gradually decreasing southerly winds. The weather will be cold and changeable, with occasional showers, but improving. Seas will be rough. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —2ft. 9in.
