OBITUARY
MRS JAMES WAUGH. The friends of Airs James Wallah learned with deep regret of hor passing at tlio New Plymouth Public Hospital recently. Mrs 'Waugh el id not enjoy gootl health, but bravely attended to her duties as the mother of a young family. Horn in Podding, Afrs Waugh was the third daughter of i\lr and Mrs K. Martin, of Aorangi Street, and had spent nearly nil her life in Foilding. She was a pupil of the Manchester Street School and a staunch member of the Baptist Church. Her marriage to Mr Waugh was celebrated in Feilding, and they later lived at Foilding, Palmerston North. Mangaparo, and New Plymouth. The deceased lady leaves two sons, James and Noel, besides her husband, and to them the sympathy of a large number of iriends lias been extended The funeral took place on Sunday last at the Foilding Cemetery, Bov. li. F. Carlisle conducting the services at the residence of Mr and Mrs Martin and at the cemetery The pall-hearers were Messrs R. Martin, O. Carr, W . and T. Brown, T. Waugh and 8. Dickenson. Among the wreaths were tokens from the Foilding Baptist Church, staff and employees of the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Co., New Plymouth, and the New Plymouth Caledonian Society and Pipe Band.
