WEDDING.

HILLAS —MACPHERSON. The wedding took place recently at All Saints’ Church, Palmerston North, of Margaret Bettv, elder daughter oj Mr and Mrs \V. L. Macphcrson, o! Palmerston North. to Mr 1' rank Millas, of Pori. The ceremony was performed hy Canon G. Y. Woodward. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a fitting gown of ivory Limerick lace over satin- Her tulle veil was held at the sides by spraj s of orange blossams and. she carried a sheaf of cream gladioli. Miss Mabel Macpherson attended her sister as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of blue needierun lace over taffeta, with sash of clover and blue. A wreath of clover and blue flowers was n oru in her hair, and she carried a sheaf of gladioli and delphiniums to tone. Mr P. R. Boagey, of Pahiatua, carried out the duties of best mail. A reception was later held at tile P.D.C. tearooms, where Mr and Mrs Maenherson received the guests, assisted by Miss Myra Hillas, sister of the bridegroom. Mrs Macpherson wore a navy ‘blue ensemble, the coat braided with grey, and model hat to tone. Her shoulder spray was ol scarlet roses. Miss Hillas was dressed in a black and white model frock with black edge-to-edge coat and black hat. T-Tor shoulder spray was of white gladioli. The bride and bridegroom left- bv car for the north, the bride travelling in a dove-grey model frock with navy hat and accessories.
